About
I joined Educational Affairs in 2023 as part of the educational planning team. I am originally from Romania. I studied architecture before moving to the U.S., where I earned a BA in Art History, a Certificate in Clinical Research Methods, and an MS in Health Informatics. I began my career at UIC as a research specialist and data manager for a pediatric HIV study, transitioning to medical education in 2021. I live in the Chicago area with my husband, two daughters, and a lively crew of pets. Outside of work, I enjoy reading, gardening, and early morning walks in the woods with my dogs.
