About
Sharon Carter is the Lead Coordinator for Continuing Medical Education. She first arrived at UIC in 2016 and served as a Medical Education Program Coordinator in the Office of Curricular Affairs. Prior to joining UIC she was a CPR instructor for the American Red Cross and worked 10 years as a medical assistant instruction at a private health training school in Texas. After a brief hiatus Sharon returned to UIC and assumed her current CME coordinator role where she provides efficient administration of every and all elements of the program’s day-to-day operations, and database management. Outside of her professional life, Sharon enjoys reading, long walks by the lake, and road trips.
